Jalen Hudson is a 6’6”, 192lb shooting guard who was originally recruited in 2014 by Virginia Tech, where he spent his freshman and sophomore season. As a rookie, he put up impressive numbers - netting an average of 7.7 points per game. In the following year, his impact increased and he posted 8.4 points and 2.3 rebounds, including a 27-point performance.

In his junior year, he opted to transfer to Florida, where Hudson averaged 15.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game - leading the team in scoring, and three-pointers with 78. That impressive season lead him to become the first Florida Gator ever to win SEC Player of the Week three times in a single season. He also had eight 20-point games, including a career-high 35 points.

In the 2018-19 season, Jalen Hudson, as a senior was third on the team in scoring - averaging 9.3 points per game. He was a key component to the powerhouse team and was even named MVP of the Orange Bowl Classic.
